Hey there, I'm Paula!
Specializing in classic cutting and color techniques, particularly short hair!
Paula is the leader of our team. She is our go-to person for advice in and out of the salon, and she reflects that helpful, caring, and encouraging attitude with her clientele. You will always feel better leaving Paula's chair! Especially if you leave with some of her baked goods!
"My favorite thing about being a hair stylist is that I get to make people feel better about themselves. That has been the case since I first started cosmetology school, to 35 years later today."
I began my interest in hair when I started cutting my friends hair in high school. I always dreamed of being an accountant, so after I graduated high school, I thought why not go to hairdressing school to pay for college. Long story short, I did not become an accountant. Henry Blaine, owner of my cosmetology school (Blaine), took me under his wing and told me that I had "hair dresser hands," and the rest is history.

I opened Style in 1997 after working at several salons learning from countless stylists, but I felt like there was an open avenue for a new salon energy. I wanted to create a nice atmosphere where everyone felt welcome, included, and appreciated.

When I'm not at the salon you can find me at home!! I'm a huge homebody! I love to cook, bake, garden, read, spend time with husband and children, and to work on home projects.

I also love a funky haircut. I have baby fine hair, so I have always loved a short funky style on myself, and a lot of my clientele sports shorter hair. Though I do a lot of short hair, I also love a wicked layered longer haircut. You will make my day if you come in and say "just do whatever you think, I trust you." I will always consult before I begin, and I will give you my expert opinion as to why a certain style will complement your features! If you're up for a transformation, or just add a little funk added to your style, I would be honored to be your stylist! I am also an expert colorist on classic techniques for those of you that usually book for color and cut!
